MicroArts

Welcome to our personal and non-commercial web site established in 1998 with the aim of sharing our interest in buildings and how they reflect and affect their surroundings. The development of various architectural styles and how these relate to social and cultural changes is an interest that we have enjoyed over the years and we hope that you share in this enjoyment as you browse through these pages.

MicroArts, our publishing name, is coined from our joint interests in technology (Micro) and our passion for the arts (Arts). We bring these together in the creation of over 100 pages of buildings and structures from all over the United Kingdom under the all encompassing title of the UK Heritage. Unless indicated, all photographs have been taken by us and while, in most cases, we will be happy to allow their use on other sites we would welcome the courtesy of being asked and the option to set up a two-way link between our sites.

We will continually update the site as we travel round the country, so there will be new buildings and properties added from time to time and an updates page will keep you posted with these new additions.
