Caistor Roman Town - Norwich, Norfolk (Pvt - Norfolk Archaeological Trust)

The Roman town of Caistor St Edmund was once Norfolk's capital and is one of only a few Roman towns in Britain that have not been damaged or hidden by later buildings.

The town walls dating back to AD200

Norwich Castle Museum in the centre of the City holds many of the Roman artifacts recovered from this area.
